영문 초록

We cannot confirm the master of burial of Jang-Gun Tom. We have three masters of Tomb, King Jang-Soo, Kwang-Ge-to, and founder of Koguryo, Ju-Mong. But it had no actual historical records and ruins. In this article, I pointed that this tomb was built following condition, the location and characteristic of tomb, the transference of capital to Pyong-Yang, and scope and limitis of Koguryo’s territory. This tomb indicated the the succession of stone grave with steps, and growing process of Koguryo, But it was special style of Koguryo’s mode and showed the powerful King’s au thority and systemic ruling class. It was a Symbolic relic of Kuk-Nae-Song’s age, mark of expansion of it’s nation. In this view, I think it is possible that this is King Kwang-Ge-To’s tomb.
