영문 초록

Any people, who has stubborn love for its nation, has desire to teach it to its descendants. In 2001, turbulence around history textbooks of Japan for middle school students rose up, and Korean government asked revision to Japanese government, who refused this request. The textbook on issue has rarely been adapted. Japanese government, without any regret, attributed this unhappy situation to leakage of the textbook’s contents before publication. Looking at situation in Japan, the textbook system is being aggravated. A number of distortion on contents still is found in textbooks of Japan, and some issues based on facts like a group of comfort women was eliminated. As a result, rightist inclination in textbook of Japan seems to be reinforced. Beyond perceiving rightist inclination in textbook of Japan, wide methods are required as follows. In the first place, solid foundation for cooperation between North and South Korea should be established. Secondly, to keep peace in East Asia, Korea(North and South), China, and Japan are needed to be cooperative to each other. In this context, people from Japan means NGO consisted of civil organizations, scholars, association of teachers. In addition, Korea(North and South), China, Japan ought to join ASEAN to be the formation of ‘Pan Asian Community’, for the purpose of creating benefits for Asia led by Korea, China, and Japan.
