영문 초록

Language is interwoven with various grammatical information. The so-called Korean internally headed relative clauses (IHRC) is not an exception in this respect. This paper looks into the basic properties of Korean IHRCs and claims that Korean IHRCs are not truly IHRCs but noun complement constructions. In addition, the paper argues that a better analysis for Korean IHRCs is the one that allows tight interactions among grammatical components as well as constraints on the constructions in question.
