영문 초록

The purpose of the study was to make a close inquiry into Performing aspect and Principle of Animal Training and to examine its characteristics. The study examined the history of 'Dong-Choon Cirus' animal acrobatics. The root of animal acrobatics goes back to farming activities of the primitive mankind. To make public performance through animals possible, humans’ method to train animals should be assumed in advance and experience of farming activities should be assumed in advance to acquire such a method to train animals. On the basis of basic contents, the study could generalize the Performing aspect and Principle of Animal Training by having a face-to-face talk investigation. The study examined the performance process of animal acrobatics according to a frame of each type set and classified by the author. The study classified the performance to one kind 'Technology Tree' Through the above, the study could see that a fixed dog training was formed by each performance and that training difficulty was also classified according to relations with humans. Conclusively, animal acrobatics is a valuable inheritance which keeps its vitality through the process of changing, developing and recreating as one out of Sanakbaekhee, a common performance inheritance in the East Asia. In the history of traditional performance, animals have secured a liberal position. As mentioned in the introduction, it is a cognitive transformation from positioning animals as a secondary object in a performance field. Animals are a performer and tool for performance making it possible to make a liberal and creative performance at any performance field.
