영문 초록

Nowadays the regional festival not only conveys the intrinsic meaning of both the establishment of regional identity and the pursuit of the cultural art, but it also implicates the value of culture and tourism product that boom the regional economy as the main cultural policy of the local government. With the relocation of Chungnam provincial office to Hong Seong, the establishment of cultural identity through the regional festival in Hong Seong is becoming an inevitable issue. This study focuses on the problems of the regional festival policy and proposes an alternative plan to improve the regional festival of Hong Seong. The followings are the implementation plan for the regional policy of Hong Seong to suit the original intention of developing the county culturally. 1. The objective evaluation system on the festival should be implemented. 2. The meaning of ritual ceremony should be introduced. 3. The con version to the private organization-led festival is needed. 4. Selection and concentration are beth required. 5. The young people must be center. 6. It opens the Miss SoHyang contest
