영문 초록

Although logistics performance is one of the most essential study areas in the academic journal, the "foreign firms" operating in Korea has not been covered in detail. Actually many foreign logistics firms are extending their service scope to have more control and close contacts with Korean customers. Performance evaluation regarding the relationship between parent company and their foreign subsidiaries can have strategic implication for the domestic firms as well. This study investigates the impact of cultural distance, knowledge transfer, and conflicts on communication and logistics performance. The measures for corporate strategies and foreign entry scheme for Korean logistics firms were examined. Finally this article tried to outline and identify the implications for the foreign logistics companies in Korea.
