영문 초록

Karai is a town in Kota Lama Kanan consecrated with many heritage attractions, the oldest tropical rainforest and amazing views. This paper is to examine the condition of the various resources in Karai with the aimed of finding out the possible natural and cultural heritage that can be develop and offered to tourist. This paper outlines qualitative research using in-depth interviews and discussion groups to engage with tourism providers to explore five issues to be address in this research: the conditions of the resources in the area, the tourism development in the area, the actively involvement of local communities with the development of their areas, the designated areas targeted for tourism area development and the potential impact of tourism development.
