In the wide range of social and natural treasures of Vojvodina, which make the framework of the development of tourism, the special place in forming the tourist product is taken by viticulture and wine production. The region of Vojvodina has arranged and stable areas full of vineyards with important wine growing and production. “The wine road” is one of the tourist products, which has in the past years attracted more and more tourists. Most of the countries from our surrounding have managed successfully to solve, stimulate and organize so called “wine tourism” by creating “wine roads” such as Wine roads in Slovenia and Croatia, in Germany, Austria, Hungary, etc. “Wine roads of Vojvodina” would significantly contribute to increasing the quality of wine and would also have positive impact on the standard of manufacturers and also all those who would be included in this action. For the purpose of the paper a survey was conducted, which was carried out in order to see present state of wine cellars in Vojvodina and to find out what the possibilities for their inclusion in the wine tourism are, i.e. what the chances for opening wine roads are.
