교육실습을 통한 예비특수교사의 교육학적 내용지식 변화에 관한 실행연구

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 교육실습에서의 국어 수업을 중심으로 예비특수교사들의 교육학적 내용지식이 어떻게 변화하며, 그러한 변화에 영향을 끼치는 요인이나 어려움은 무엇인지를 구체적으로 밝히고자 하였다. 교육실습에 참여하는 예비특수교사 4명을 대상으로 실행연구 방법론을 적용하였다. 연구 결과, 1) 예비특수 교사들은 교육실습 과정에서 국어 수업과 관련하여 국어 교육 방법, 국어 수업 실행 능력, 장애아동에 대한 이해 등의 교육학적 내용지식에서 긍정적인 변화를 경험하였다. 2) 교육실습 현장에서 이루어진 지도교사, 동료 예비교사, 장애아동과의 상호작용은 예비특수교사들의 국어 수업과 관련된 교육학적 내용지식의 긍정적인 변화를 이끄는 주요한 요인이 되었다. 3) 예비특수교사들의 국어 수업과 관련된 교육학적 내용지식의 긍정적인 변화를 이끌어내기 위해서는 국어 수업을 계획, 실행, 관찰, 반성하는 일련의 과정을 반복적으로 경험해야 할 필요가 있다. 4) 예비특수교사들의 국어 수업과 관련된 교육학적 내용지식의 긍정적인 변화를 더욱 신장시키기 위해서는 예비특수교사들이 교육실습 과정에서 겪는 다양한 어려움을 극복할 수 있는 방안이 마련되어야 한다. 이 밖에도 연구 결과를 토대로 예비특수교사의 교육학적 내용지식을 신장시키기 위한 교육실습 프로그램의 개선 방안을 몇 가지로 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze how pre-service special teachers learned the pedagogical contents knowledge and to understand the changes and difficulties that they experienced in the course of practice teaching. Four pre-service special teachers participated in this study. Multiple data collection techniques were used; classroom observations, in-depth interviews, document analysis and researcher's field notes. The results of this study were summarized as followed. First, pre-service special teachers experienced positive changes in pedagogical contents knowledge such as knowledge of Korean instructional method, practical ability of Korean class, and understanding of the children with disabilities. Second, major factors of the positive changes were interaction with a mentor teacher, fellow pre-service teacher, and children with disabilities. Third, their positive changes in pedagogical content knowledge related to Korean classes were needed repetitious experiences of series of planning, practicing, observing, and reflecting. Fourth, There should be preparation of the plan to overcome diverse difficulties which pre-service special teachers often suffer in the course of practice teaching in order to boost the positive changes.
