영문 초록

Self-expression writing is significant skill to develop the writing skill. If ‘self’ emotion, thought, idea and opinion are not expressed truly and specifically, writing skill cannot be improved. A reason why the self-expression writing is important is deficiency-motivation can be solved. Since deficiency-motivation is solved, people become to see all objects understand what truly they are. Then self-understanding, self-realization and self-creation can be fulfilled. Through out many experiences of self-expression and self-understanding, ‘Self’ is developed to ‘Ego’. ‘Ego’ is a one way to show up ‘My-self’ to others. ‘Ego’ discovers a ‘Self-Worth’, establishes ‘Ego-identity, and then it develops to the ‘Ego-esteem’. Therefore, Self-expression writing is very significant to have its own ‘Ego-esteem’. Especially, principle of confession, confront and assimilation help to understand inner world of ‘Writing about my sorrow’ in detail. Furthermore, they help to overcome, understand, and readjust ‘my own sorrow’. These principles improve the writing skill and bring positive effect on it. Also, students mentioned that the main effects of Self-expression writing are understanding of your self, improvement of writing skill inspires an Ego-esteem, and supporting for development of ‘my own thought’.
