국문 초록

이 연구는 교사의 의식 변화에서 시작하여 학습자가 좋아하는 교과로 거듭나는 방향으로 미술교육의 정상화가 이루어져야 하며, 이런 교과가 되기 위해서는 교육현장과 친화적인 교육과정을 개발해야 할 필요가 있음을 주장하기 위한 것이다. 이는 지금 여기에서 교사와 학습자가 함께 좋아하는 실제적 교육과정으로 교실친화적인 학습을 이끌어 내는 것이 되어야 한다는 것을 의미한다. 이는 현재 미술교육의 문제점과 상황을 재검토하는데서 출발해야 한다. 이번 미술과 개정방향은 교육현장에서 적극 활용되어지는 실제적 교육과정이 되어야 한다. 이것은 일차적으로 미술교육에 이정표가 되면서 교사가 적극적으로 수용하고 교수․학습에 활용하야하며 또한 학습자가 선호하는 교육과정이어야 한다. 또한 동시대의 문화를 적극 수용하는 교육과정이 되어야 하고, 장기적으로는 학습자가 미적 개안이나 시각문화의 문해력을 가지면서 자신의 삶속에 예술문화를 향유할 수 있는 역량을 개발시키는 교육과정이어야 한다. 지난 시절의 미술․음악과 포함하는 예술교육과정이나 전통적 관점의 교육과정보다 “지금, 여기”가 강조되어 지면서 동시대와 미래를 예술문화는 향유하고 선도하는데 기여할 수 있는 살아있는 실제적인 교육과정을 개발을 해야 한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to suggest that normalization of art education should be directed to promoting art subject by teachers' efforts to change their attitudes, leading students' preference and developing an affinitive curriculum with school settings. This means that art curriculum should be developed for leading both teachers and learners to close to classroom settings focused on here and now. It can begin with reflecting the current conditions and problems in the Korean art education. Developing art curriculum should so play a role as the direction for art education that teachers can accept and use it for a practical class as an instruction and students can prefer it. To do this, it should be affinitive with and useful for practices in the classroom settings. In addition it should actively include contemporary culture and it can develop learners' capacities to enjoy arts and culture with aesthetic insights and literacy of visual culture in their lives for a long term. Therefore, it should be an animating curriculum emphasizing “here and now” rather than a traditional curriculum including art and music in the past, contributing to leading students to enjoy contemporary and future arts and culture.
