국문 초록

본 연구는 다문화 미술교육의 방안을 통합 교육의 방법에서 접근하고자 한다. 다문화 교육은 문화 이해에 대한 소양을 높이며, 실제 수업에서의 적용을 통하여 갈등보다는 통합의 방안을 강구하는데 목적이 있다. 나아가 다문화 미술교육은 민족의 정체성, 사회 체계, 가치를 구현할 수 있다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 미술교과와 타 교과와의 통합적 접근을 통한 다문화 미술교육은 미술 수업에서의 다양한 사고의 촉진과 함께 폭 넓은 문화 이해에 대한 실마리를 제공할 수 있다. 이로써 통합 교과를 통한 다문화 이해 미술 수업의 방안을 구상, 적용함으로써 다양한 문화 이해 방안을 모색하는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study proposes to approach multicultural art education in light of integrative curriculum method. Multicultural art education aims to broaden knowledge on cultural understanding and unify struggling cultural factors in the real classroom situation. Moreover, multicultural art education is important in that it can embody national/ethnic identity, social systems, and values. The multicultural art education with interdisciplinary focus on art and other curriculums can encourage flexible thinking in art class let alone offering clues to the broad understanding of cultures. This study is based on the development and implement of interdisciplinary programs applicable to the 1st grade students in highschool and tries to apply the interdisciplinary approach to social science, Japanese, and English. In this sense, multicultural understanding art class through integrative curriculum is meaningful in that it tries to explore various methods of cultural understanding.
