U.S.A' s natural dyes have two roots. One is from the Native Americans. They used their unique des igns and it is educated step by step by the Institu te of American Indian Arts . The other is from the Ameri can pioneer s from Europe. There isn' t much diffe rence on dying methods, however, their approach is closer to artistic and hobbies one of the ways of living. After the invention of the artif icia l dyes, natural dyes has been decrea sed until 1920' s when it was revived with the restoration of the industri al arts. Recently, not only people are interested in natura l colors and dyes but also we are interested in orga nic food s. In textil e business, peopl e conside r about eco log ical and environmental prob lems; whic h are caused by art if icia l dyes . Currently, in America, they use imported products from over 12 countries and also their own products used by individual homes and big industries. However, natural dyes have poisonous mordants, fast coloring, light and washing endurance problems. Alleg ro Natura l Dyes arose to indu ce only I% of th e natu ral dyes textil e mark et s by improving above problems. As a result , they invented Ecolor Dye, which uses wild plant s that
are grown on a land which can' t be cultivated. They developed how to dye without using a mordant by gather ing non-poisonous plants from the wild. They usually produce thread and cl othes which are dyed from indigo , madder, osage and cutch. Their eye-o pening progress is that they reuse waste from the dying into natural mat erials biodegradable. There are also individual and social groups; they use dyes which are perso nally extrac ted or purchased as liquid. Thei r designs are mostl y slowly dyed with one color than colors. The natural dyes examples suggested here are mainly from the indians and each places its own color and pattern s. It is highly recommended to be tourists goods. Overall, the natur al dyes have been declinin g but many industries have optimistic views on the future. After the 20th century, the customers are more incline to the organic products. In addition, it could substitute artificial dyes, which dangers our environment. Most of all, the natural dyes products are giving a good chance and hope to export their goods to each countries textile pioneers.
