Cities have been losing beautiful spaces where people can enjoy their life because they have been standardized, desolated and insipid as the human society has been developed. In recent days, many people have been concentrated on the public art as the area of the textile molding has been expanded as part of attempts to create a beautiful space. The existent textile molding, coupled with the long history of human beings, expands its area and establishes its status is thus the purpose of this research. Nowadays the construction of public buildings, urban structures and apartment living spaces add cool feelings to the city, pushing people to look for wall decorations and life artifacts other than just paintings. In this way, the modern textile art has been gradually developed in accordance with the changing needs of modern lifestyles. With practical and functional features, molding art has not only structural but also aesthetic attributes as a comprehensive medium of art. Considering a variety of current problems of space concept, space- fiber molding helps renew our perspectives toward environmental and public arts along with architecture, and extend its scope in overall directions.
As mentioned above, expressions of space concept in fiber art have played a critical role in detaching from the wall and expanding a unique field to create new formalities as a fiber artistic technique in disregard of anything else. Modern textile molding is important in the sense that it has infinite potentiality. Besides, the
area is stimulating the active creativity and experimental spirits of many artists. Fiber molding is being installed in public places, and expressed through the sense of space recognition and cognition. The current study shows that textile molding is an expression of space in combination of architecture and environmental space, as it expands into the genre of public arts.
