특수교육 교육과정의 국제적 동향과 시사점 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 미국, 영국, 일본, 호주 등의 세계 여러 나라 특수교육 교육과정의 구성 방법 및 주요 내용을 살펴보고, 이들 국가의 교육과정이 최근 한국 교육과정 및 특수학교 교육과정 개정의 주요 방향인 학교 교육과정 자율화와 일반학교 교육과정으로의 접근성 측면에서 어떠한 형태로 구성되어 있는지 비교․분석함으로써 한국의 특수교육 교육과정 개선에 시사점을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이러한 목적에따라 탐색된 결과는 첫째, 특수교육 교육과정의 구성 방법은 기본적으로 일반학교 교육과정을 기준으로하여 상세화하거나 재구성하는 형태를 취하는 경향성을 보이고 있다는 점, 둘째, 특수교육 교육과정의 내용에 있어서 주된 특징은 특수교육 요구학생이 일반학교 교육과정에 참가할 수 있도록 구체적으로 차별화된 교육과정 접근 방법을 단계적으로 제시해 주고 있다는 점, 셋째, 학교 교육과정 자율화와 일반학교교육과정으로의 접근성 측면에서 다양성의 범주 내에서 ‘모든’(all) 학생의 교육 질 제고를 위하여 단위학교의 교육과정 편성․운영 자율성이 지속적으로 확대되고, 특수교육 요구학생의 일반 교육과정 접근성 신장을 위한 각종 조처들을 마련하고 있다는 점 등의 시사점을 추출할 수 있었다. 이는 향후 국가수준 특수학교 교육과정의 개선을 위한 중요한 방향성으로 참조되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study searched the composition way and main contents of curriculum for special education in many countries the world; USA, Japan, England, Australia, and composition curriculum of the countries compared and analyzed from aspects the autonomic of school curriculm, approch ordinary school curriculm by main direction recently nation curriculm, revision curriculum for special education, thus this study purposed to provide the current topic of revision curriculum for special education in Korea. Through this purpose review as follows. first, composition way of curriculum for special education display a trand of circumstantiality, reconstitution for basic ordinary school curriculm. second, main contents characteristic of curriculum for special education provided in stages to concretely differentiated approach way for participate in ordinary school curriculm of student with special needs education. third, autonomic organization․managrment of unit school curriculm constantly expand on aspects the autonomic of school curriculm, approch ordinary school curriculm, within category diversity for reconsider quality education of all student, also, extracted to current topic a prepare measure for increase approch ordinary school curriculm. it will be reference by important direction for improvement of national curriculum for special education.
