漢江 發源地의 역사적 인식에 대한 再檢討

국문 초록

漢江의 발원지는 조선 초 權近의 「水精屬記」를 典據로 삼아 오대산 干筒水를 지목하는 경향이 있어왔다. 그러나 한강이 태백산에서 발원한다는 고려 말 鄭道傳이 지은「圓證國師碑文」과 조선시대 『海東地圖』 ， 『東與圖』 등의 古地圖를 통하여 태백시 창죽동에 소재한 龍湫도 고려시대 이후 한강의 발원지로 인식하고 있었음을 확인 하였다. 또한 우통수도 「高麗史」를 통하여 용추와 같이 고려시대부터 한강의 발원지로 인식하고 있었음을 동시에 밝히게 되었다. 따라서, 용추와 우통수는 모두 역사적 인식속에서의 한강 발원지임을 보여준다고 하겠다. 또한 조선 후기에는 금강산, 오대산, 속리산에서 발원하는 지천의 상류도 한강의 발원지로 보려는 인식의 변화가 나타나고 있다.

영문 초록

The source of the Han River has been pointing out Utongsu of Mt. Odae that was based on Sujeonggamgi by Gwon Geun at the biginning of the Joseon Dynasty. However, it was found that Yongchu in Changjuk-dong, Taebaek-si, is the source of the Han River in terms of historic and cultural aspects through an old book Wonjeunguksabimun by Jeong Do-jeon at the end of the Goryeo Dynasty and old maps such as Haedongjido, Dongyeodo, etc. claiming that the river begins at Mt. Taebaek. In addition, it was found that Utongsu was also regarded as the source of the Han River together with Yongchu since the Goryeo Dynasty from Goryeasa. Accordingly, both Yongchu and Utongs have been recognized as the source of the Han River since the Goryeo Dynasty and the two sources present that they both are sources in historical recognization. Also the upper stream of a tributary from Mt. Geumgang, Mt. Odae, and Mt Songni were regarded as the source of Han River at the late of the Joseon Dynasty, that represented a changes of recognition
