Two great power's Wartime Policy on Hungary during the Second World War was the most important political factor to Hungarian destiny. The aim of this paper is to analyze the behavior both U.S.A and U.S.S.R. In case of U.S.S.R., several different periods can be distinguished in the Soviet Union’ s attitude toward Hungary and the Hungarian question in general. It evolved within the framework of Soviet external politics, beginning with revolutionary internationalism and ending up in naked realpolitik of imperialism. The factors shaping these changes are intertwined with four stages of Soviet policy U.S.A as a one of the leading power, They gave up her own idea toward East Central Europe. At first, They had the vision for that region, but they didn’t gave
the attention later. The defeat suffered by American diplomacy had its repercussions in Hungary. Interestingly enough, American diplomacy never quite gave up on Hungary, nor on the rest of Eastern Europe. For over forty years, with but slight shifts of emphasis, it had on its agenda a goal first formulated in 1948. The gradual
retraction of undue Russian power and influence from the present area and the emergence of the respective eastern-European countries as independent factors on the international scene. The occupation of the East Central Europe, including Hungary, by the Soviet union is one of the most successful achievement during the Second World War.
