긍정적 행동지원(PBS)이 특수학교 전공과 정신지체 학생의 자위행동에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

이 연구는 선행연구(2008)에서 연구대상 학생의 문제행동(자해행동, 자리이탈 행동, 자위행동) 중재 이후에도 문제행동 발생빈도가 41.7%로 지속된 자위행동을 표적행동으로 재 설정 하여 2차 실험을 한 연구이다. 즉, 특수학교 전공과에 재학 중인 정신지체 학생의 자위행동에 대하여 긍정적 행동지원 중재를 실시하고 그 효과를 규명해 보고자 하였다. 표적행동을 보이는 대상 학생에게 행동에 대한 기능적 평가를 실시하고 환경사건 중재, 선행 사건 중재, 대안 행동 교수 중재와 결과행동 중재를 하였다. 연구 설계법은 학교, 지역사회, 가정 환경의 세 상황 간 중다 기초선 설계방법(multiple baseline design across settings)을 이용하여 중재의 효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 본 연구에서 실시한 긍정적 행동지원 중재는 컴퓨터 수업(학교)상황, 지역사회 산업체 현장실습 상황, 및 가족과 TV를 시청하는 가정에서 참여자의 자위행동 발생률 및 지속시간을 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of positive behavior support (PBS) intervention on masturbating behavior of a student with mental retardation in special school. The target behavior was masturbating (touching his genital organ) behavior during computer class at school, industry and at home The functional behavior assessment led to the hypotheses for masturbating behavior in natural context like computer class at school, a spot training of industry, and TV auditions with the family at home. The positive behavior support of setting event, antecedent, alternative behavior, and consequence behavior intervention were designed using multiple baseline design across settings. The percentage rate of interval of student’s masturbating behavior was measured using interval recording. The results of this study were as follows: Firstly, the positive behavior support intervention resulted in a reduction of the percentage rate interval of masturbating behavior in computer class at school Secondly, the positive behavior support intervention resulted in a reduction of the percentage rate interval of masturbating behavior at company. Thirdly, the positive behavior support intervention resulted in a reduction of the percentage rate interval of masturbating behavior at home. Follow up studies were recommended with different categories of subjects with disabilities for generalization of PBS intervention.
