영문 초록

The history of the jewish settlement in America was from Jacob Barsiman, came from Netherlands, and who had landed on New Amsterdam(old name of New York) in 8th July, 1654. After passed 350 years from Jacob Barisiman's landing on New York in 1654, Jews have been contributed to the whole national development in America as one of the most successful minority race in economic and also have a gigantic power of influence over politics, economy, culture & educations, etc. As is generally known, since the country was deprived by newly rising nation, Roman Empire, Jews have been wandered the world for a long time. After 12 century, as "Jewish Conspiracy" spreaded all over the Europe, Jews have been suffered form religious and racial persecution and have to wander for search "Promised Land" which believe can make their dream into true. Without understand the past Jewish life who took a risk of cross the Atlantic for seek religious & racial freedom, it will be impossible to discuss about economically succeed American Jews today. The purpose of this thesis is to look through the whole process of Jews who have been suffered and persecuted from Europe to the new continent and their role which showed in beginning of industrial development and also to study for recent Jewish enter.
