장애위험군에 처한 영아 조기선별 교육진단도구의 국내 타당화 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 영아의 전반적인 발달을 측정할 수 있는 도구의 개발을 통해 교사 또는 부모가 영아의 발달수준 및 발달영역별 장점과 취약점을 파악함으로써 장애위험군에 처한 영아를 조기에 선별하고 개별화교육프로그램(IEP)을 실천하는데 활용하고자 하는데 목적을 둔 단기종단연구의 일부이다. 본 2차년도 연구에서는 1차년도 연구를 통해 개발된 교육진단도구를 바탕으로 도구를 표준화하고자 하였으며, 이를 위해 0～36개월 영아 861명을 대상으로 검사를 실시하였다. 본 도구의 문항양호도를 살펴보기 위해 문항통과율을 분석한 결과 대체로 발달적 경향을 잘 반영하고 있었으며, 검사 점수가 높은 집단과 낮은 집단을 비교하였을 때 점수 차이가 유의한 것으로 나타나 문항변별도가 높았다. 한편, 검사양호도를 살펴본 결과 각 월령집단의 전체적인 문항의 내적합치도가 만족스러운 수준이었으며, 검사-재검사 신뢰도 및 공인타당도가 비교적 높은 것으로 나타나 본 교육진단도구의 타당도가 입증되었다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the reliability and validity of the diagnostic instrument that can be used to measure developmental level of very young children(aged birth through 36 months old) and screen children at risk. The subjects of this study were 861 young children who were cared by teachers in child care centers or by mothers in homes. The instrument was composed of 344 items in six developmental domains including gross motor, fine motor, communication, social-emotional, cognition and self-help. The data was analyzed by item response distribution, item discrimination, and reliability as well as validity of the scale. Items reflected developmental level of each age group. Over all internal consistency were relatively high(Cronbach's α = .90～.95), and test-retest(after 2 weeks) reliability was high. Content validity was examined by a panel of experts in child development and special education, and intercorrelations among developmental domains indicated the construct validity. Also, the correlation results between the instrument and K-ASQ supported the concurrent validity.
