A study was conducted to determine the effect of hair damage and curl wave formation by the plain rinsing properties of human hair. The method was carried out with thioglycolic acid by formation of wave, measurement of tensile strength and elongation by Rheometer. The virgin hair, dyed hair and blenched hair were permanent
wave. After permanent wave, it was rinsed by distilled water(plain) and not rinsed.
The result of this study indicated that the properties of non rinsing was increased tensile strength. But permanent wave formation of virgin hair was not formed. In damaged hair doing distilled water rinse or not the difference was a little. But doing distilled water rinse increased elongation in terribly damaged hair and fair uniformity in strongly hair. Doing increased tensile strength but curl wave was similar to non plain rinse. That is why if your customer want shiny hair non rinsing is more effect, Opposite site you'd better doing plain rinsing.
