국문 초록

신라의 유학자로 널리 알려진 강수, 최치원, 설총은 『삼국사기』 권 46에 입전되어 있는데, 「유학자전」으로 보았다. 그것은 이들의 전기를 통해 김부식이 유학자로서 『삼국사기』를 서술한 성격을 잘 드러냈기 때문이다. 신라의 유학자들로는 이들 외에도 김대문, 최언위, 최승우, 김양도, 김입지, 박인범, 왕거인 등 많은 인물들이 있다. 본 고는 『삼국사기』 열전에 입전된 3인과 그 외의 여러 인물까지를 포함하여 살펴보고, 그 속에서 특징을 추출해 보았다. 첫째 이들이 유학사상가로서보다 문장가로서의 특징을 나타내는 것으로 보고, 특히 『문선』과의 관계를 살펴보았다. 둘째 孝보다 忠이 앞서는 것으로 보았다. 셋째 국가발전에 필요한 인재등용을 위해 시무책 건의에 힘썼다는 점이다. 넷째 신라 사회가 불교사회인 만큼 유학자라 하더라도 불교와 깊이 관련되어 있다는 점이다.

영문 초록

Well-known confucianist in Silla dynasty, Kang-su, Choi chi-weon, Seol chong is wroten biography on 『Samkuk-sagi』 46, this is named 「confucianist biography」. Kim bu-sik described to distinguish his personality through 「confucianist biography」. Except that confucianist in Silla dynasty, Kim dae-moon, Choi un-yu, Choi seng-wu, Kim yang-do and many others is very famous. This paper research to study biography on 『Samkuk-sagi』 46, this is named 「confucianist biography」, and draw distinctive feature. First, well-known confucianist in Silla dynasty come out literary man than Confucian, and connection with 『won xian』. Second, they allegiance to their country than show their parents every attention. Third, they set themselves to selection of fit persons for higher position. Forth, even if well-known confucianist in Silla dynasty, they had a close relation with Buddhism, that is, Silla dynasty was Buddhist society.
