초등예비교사들의 관찰활동에서 나타난 인과적 의문의 사고 유형과 생성 과정

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 초등예비교사들의 관찰활동에서 나타난 인과적 의문의 사고 유형과 생성 과정을 알아보는데 있다. 연구를 수행하기 위하여 기 개발된(이혜정 등, 2004) 관찰활동 수행에 적합한 4가지의 과제 즉, 사이다에 담긴 건포도 관찰, 촛불 관찰, 잉크에 염색된 샐러리 관찰, 암석 관찰 과제를 토대로 교원 양성 대학교 4학년 학생 7명을 대상으로 질적 연구방법을 통하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 인과적 의문에서 나타난 사고 유형은 설명자 탐색 의문이 8가지로 유형을 분류할 수 있었으며, 설명자 확인 의문은 설명자 탐색 의문에서 나타난 8가지 사고 유형 외에 설명자 차용이 추가로 발견되어 9가지로 사고 유형을 분류 할 수 있었다. 또한 설명자 탐색 의문의 생성 과정은 6가지 유형으로, 설명자 확인 인과적 의문의 생성 과정은 5가지 유형으로 생성되었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 학생들에게 과학적 탐구의 방향과 방법을 안내할 수 있는 교수 전략과 학생들의 과학적 의문 생성을 돕는 교수-학습 프로그램 개발을 위한 교수 전략으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the type of thinking and generating processes of causal questions which were generated in preservice elementary teachers’ observing acivities. To find the generating processes of causal questions, 4 observing tasks, the task of grapes in soda, the candlelight, the celery, and the rock tasks, were administered to 7 preservice elementary teachers majoring in science education. The results of this study were as follows: The types of thinking in generating explicans exploration questions were classified as 8 types and explicans verification questions were classified as 9 types. The generating processes of explicans exploration questions were classified as 6 steps and explicans verification questions were classified as 5 steps. The results of this study may be used as a teaching strategy for guiding the direction and the method of scientific questions and developing the teaching-learning programs that help student to generate scientific questions.
