영문 초록

  A new profile measurement sensor was developed for the laser welding robot. A stripe laser and an image sensor are used. The sensor can measure the profile of the welding surface and obtain the gap and seam information. Moreover, the working distance of the sensor can be varied. In experiments, the profile and gap measurement as well as the seam tracking were carried out to verify the usefulness of the sensor.
