2) Analysis of type of home and level of home indicated that children who live in single-family homes generally wake up early and children in higher levels of apartments had more frequent visits to hospitals than children in lower levels.
3) Larger homes influenced wake up time. frequency of tardiness, and breakfasts and residential type (owned or rented) influenced frequency of tardiness. meals with family, commutation. breakfasts. dental hygiene. and academic performance.
4) More rooms led to more frequent breakfasts and children with larger rooms had frequent breakfasts. enjoyed helping with chores. and showed better social skills and academic performances in school.
5) Difference in sunlight was the most critical factor that influenced growth and development of children. The most influential factors were: sunlight> residential type> level of home.
2. RESULTS
Based on the above results. it was found that various natural. social. and physical elements of residential environments influence children"s growth and development. However. most parents do not consider children"s needs and requirements when creating their residential environments. In this regard, it is necessary to avoid adult-oriented perspectives and understand the complaints and losses of children in adult-centered residential spaces. Children should be given more rights and roles when planning residential environments.
