국문 초록

  본 연구는 학생을 반복 측정하여 얻는 3수준 구조의 자료를 2수준 다층성장모형으로 분석할 경우와 3수준 다층성장모형으로 분석할 경우 고정효과 모수 추정량의 양호도를 비교함으로써 연구자가 올바른 모형을 선택하는 실증적 근거를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 2수준 다층성장모형과 3수준 다층성장모형의 명세화 특성과 제공하는 정보의 종류를 이론적 차원에서 비교하고, 모의실험(simulation)을 통해 두 모형 간 고정효과 모수 추정량의 비편향성과 효율성 측면에서 논의하였다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence for the choice of multilevel growth curve models when the data have 3-level structure. Specifically, this study is to compare the properties of the fixed effects estimates of 2-level and 3-level growth models in terms of unbiasness and efficiency through simulation work. For theoretical background, it compares the characteristics of the two models by showing differences in their model specification, providing estimates, and estimation methods. It discussed the results of the simulation of the two models along with the issue of the choice of models.
