국문 초록

  미술과 수업에서는 대상을 어떻게 인식하느냐 그리고 그런 인식작용이 행위로 이어져 어떻게 작품이 형성 되는가 외에 주제 및 조형요소와 원리, 구도, 학생 개개인의 정체성 등이 폭넓게 작용한다. 학생들은 사물을 지각하고 내면화하며 표현하는 과정 속에서 다양한 것들을 인식하고 지각하며 표상화 한다. 그리고 학생들의 작품은 미술과 수업의 교수ㆍ학습활동과 교사의 지도방향, 학생개인의 체험, 참여도, 교육환경 등이 변인이 되어 다양하게 전개된다. 이 연구에서는 동일한 또는 유사한 주제에 대한 한ㆍ일 학생들의 작품을 초ㆍ중등학생들과 교사들에게 비교 및 분석하게 하여 유사점과 차이점등을 살펴보고 교수ㆍ학습 활동과 연계하여 표현방법과 조형성에 대해 살펴보는 것이다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study is searching for the similarity, difference of artistic methods and expressions in elementary and secondary students" art works between Korea and Japan. We give the three subjects of landscape, still-life, and portrait to the given group for this study. We also examine how these groups of elementary and secondary students" peers and elementary and secondary teachers evaluate the Korean and Japanese students" art works. Through the analysis of the students" art works, we discuss the divergence of artistic vision, subject, composition, design elements and principles, artistic methods and expressions. Each country students show various ways to perceive the objects when they create the art works.
  While we endeavored to match the Korean and Japanese students by grade level, it was not always feasible. Upon comparison, we find that students" art works are greatly influenced by various things such as teacher"s teaching methods, lesson plan, school environment, student"s own artistic vision and personal experiences. Korean students‘ art works, however, show fewer perspectives and less usage of mixed colors and artistic perceptions then Japanese Students. We discover that even though cultural, social and environmental differences make students" art works differ between Korean and Japan, the teaching and lesson plan of art class has to be well disciplined in order to improve students" artistic skills and visual languages in Korea.
