국문 초록

  秋史 김정희는 北學의 宗匠이자 19세기 朝鮮 學藝의 關門이다. 그러나 그는 ‘山海崇深’의 학문세계를 이루었으면서도 후대에 자신의 저작을 전하지 않았다. 이는 추사를 연구하는 후학들에게 커다란 짐이 되었고, 아직도 그런 상황은 진행중에 있다. 저작의 不在는 추사 연구의 가장 큰 한계로 작용하였고, 편찬된 시문집의 경우에도 수많은 오류 때문에 비판을 받아왔다. 학문세계에 관한 연구는 저작의 확보 없이는 불가능하다. 필자는 묻혀있는 추사의 저작들을 찾아내는 것이야말로 ‘추사학’에서 가장 중요하고 시급한 일이라 여기고 국내외에 있는 公私의 書庫들을 조사하고 개인 소장의 자료들을 찾아다녔다. 이는 추사의 저술을 통해 추사의 학문세계를 이해하기 위한 첫 번째 단계이기도 하다. 그 결과 추사 詩學의 특징을 확인할 수 있는 여러 종류의 편저들을 찾아냈다. 또한 금석학 및 고증학, 그리고 경학에 관한 자료와 저작들도 새롭게 발굴해냄으로써 추사학의 연구 범위를 확대시켰다. 아울러 문제가 되고 있는 추사 시문집의 이본도 발굴해냈다. 이본들과 간본과의 면밀한 비교를 통해 보다 명확한 문집을 만들어내는 일은 뒷날의 과제로 남겨둔다.

영문 초록

  Chu-Sha Kim, Jeong-Hui(秋史 金正喜) is a master of BukHak(北學) and a gateway of the art and the science of 19th century in Chosun dynasty. But he did not leave many writings although he accomplished the profound scholarship like a towering mountain and a deep ocean(山海崇深). The absence of his writings gave the limit to the research about Chu-Sha, and his complete works have been blamed because of having a lot of mistakes. This is the burden of younger scholors.
  So the discovery of writings which were disappeared, is the most urgent and important task. The present writer looked for the writings of Chu-Sha by searching the public and private libraries and visiting book collectors. This is the first step to understand Chu-Sha and his scholarship which could be only fulfilled through the writings of Chu-Sha. As a result, some writings which say about the poetics, the epigraphy, and a bibliographical study of Chinese classics of Chu-Sha, were recovered. Also different versions of compelte works were revealed. These discoveries extended the category of the study about Chu-Sha. The task of making an authorized edition through comparing the published version with the different version, is left as a following task.
