국문 초록

  이 연구는 우리나라 평생교육의 활성화에 대한 성패가 지방자치단체의 평생교육체제화에 달려있다는 전제 아래 대표적인 외국의 평생학습도시와 우리나라 평생학습도시의 평생교육추진체제에 대한 분석을 토대로 우리나라 지방자치 수준에서의 평생교육체제 구축 방안을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 지방자치수준에서의 평생교육체제 구축방안은 평생학습의 비전 및 방향 설정, 기초 및 광역 자치단체의 평생학습추진체제 구축 및 강화, 행정부서 및 평생학습기관의 평생교육사 배치, 읍ㆍ면ㆍ동 단위 평생학습마을운동 체제 구축, 평생학습인적자원개발 및 지역지도자양성 체제 구축, 시민주도의 평생학습운영체제 구축, 학습동아리 활성화 체제 구축, 지역교육청과의 연계ㆍ협력체제 구축, 지역 평생교육활성화를 위한 네트워크 체제 구축 등이 제시되었다.

영문 초록

  This study is to explore strategies for building lifelong education systems in local governments. This study reviewed lifelong education systems of lifelong learning city in foreign countries and operation systems of the lifelong learning city in korea, and suggested strategies for building lifelong education systems in local governments
  For strategies for building lifelong education systems in local governments, there is the presentation of visions and directions for lifelong learning, the establishment and strengthening of the lifelong learning support system and promotion system in county and province level, placement of a lifelong educator in administrative institutes, lifelong learning centers, and lifelong education institutes, establishment of a lifelong learning village movement system in the UbㆍMeoynㆍDong level, establishment of a leader fostering system for the development of regional human resources, establishment of lifelong learning operation system directed by the public, organization and activation of study circles, activation of local lifelong education in connection with regional education office, and establishment of the network system for activating the local lifelong education.
