영문 초록
The purpose of this study was to research on the body composition, somatotype and maximal oxygen uptake of university athletes.
For this purpose the writer surveyed the double pinch method of skinfold thickness and Health-Carter anthropometric somatotype method and their maximal oxygen uptake by using Fox" estimation of 15 Soccer, 12 Basball, 12 Ice-Hockey, 13 Gymanstic, 7 Basketball university athletes in Seoul.
The result of data analysis are follows;
A. Skinfold thickness measurement
1) Triceps skinfold thickness
It was mean result that Baseball group is most high appeared, Ice-Hockey, Basketball, Cytmanastic group of in regular sequence, most low appeared in Soccer group.
2) Subscapular skinfold thickness
It was mean result that Baseball group is most high appeared, Ice-Hockey, Basketball, Gymnastic group of in regular sequence, most low appeared in Soccer group.
3) Suprailiac skinfold thickness
It was mean result that Baseball group is most high appeared, Basketball, Ice-Hockey, Soccer group of in regular sequence, most low appeared in Gymnastic group.
4) Abdomen skin fold thickness
It was mean result that Baseball group is most high appeared, Ice-hockey, Basketball, Gymnastic group of in regular sequence, most low appeared in soccer group.
B. Fat weight measurement
1) % Fat
It was mean result that Baseball group is most high appeared, Ice-Hockey, Basketball, Gymnastic group of in regular sequence, most low appeared in Soccer group.
2) Fat
It was mean result that Baseball group is most high appeared, Basketball, Ice-Hockey, Soccer group of in regular sequence, most low appeared in Gymnastic group.
C. Somatotype
As their mean result somatotype, Soccer, Basketball, Gymnasic group were appeared as ectomorphic mesomorph (s=2.02-5.00-2.59, s=2.87-4.85-3.28, s=2.06-6.62-2.60) and Ice-Hockey, Baseball group were endomorphic mesomorph (s=2.97-5.47-2.63, s=3.46-6.15-2.47).
D. Maximal oxygen uptake
As their maximal oxygen uptake (VO₂ 2 max) per kilogram, Soccergroup is most high appeared, Icehockey, Basketball, Baseball group of in regular sequence, most low appeared in Gymnastic group.
E. Correlation relative of somatotype and maximal oxygen uptake
The correlation coefficient between endomorph and maximal oxygen uptake were appeared as the certainly correlation but mesomorphy with ectomorphy and maximal oxygen uptake were appeared as low and turn out not correlation.
