영문 초록
This study is to see if having massage before people exercise could effect in heart rate and lactic acid in blood during recovery period after exercise. The participants were 12 housewives and office workers. They worked out at 60%~70% of maximum heart rate for 20 minutes with ergometer bicycle. They check up the changes of lactic acid in blood at 3, 5, 10, 20, 30 minutes after exercise.
The heart beating and lactic acid in blood of the participants are normal when they are at rest. Compare having massage to not having massage, the changes in heart rate right after the exercise and after 3, 5, 10, 20 minutes, and 30 minutes of exercise was significant when the participants had massage. Heart beat recovery rate during recovery period after exercise was higher when they had massages than when they did not. And the results was statistically significant. Recovery rate of lactic acid in blood during recovery period after exercise was higher when the participants had massage 10 minutes after exercise than they did not have any massage.
In conclusion, massage before exercise can affect the heart beating rate and lactic acid in blood. Having massage before and after exercise would help people to recover from his fatigue.
