영문 초록
This study is to survey that athlete activities have any effects on personality formation through the comparison between elementary athlete player and common student and therefore to obtain more effective coaching and necessary data in educational field.
In this study, test groups are selected from elementary school, which is composed of 184 athlete players and 250 common students. The results are obtained from self-administration methods which is a tool using the humanity-checking list for elemantary published in Korean testing and prepared by professor Chung.
The results are as follows.
1) When personal character between athlete players and common students are compared, the activities of athlete players appear higher significance(p<.001) than that of common students and the dominance of athlete players appear higher significance(p<.01) than that of common students. Also, the stability, impulsiveness, and sociability of athlete players have higher significance, whith making a little difference in significance.
2) The personal character by the event types of athlete players.
(1) Between team game and individual game
Although the activity and most of other factors in team game show higher record than individual game, with making a little difference, individual game appear higher significance(p<.01) than team game in the stability.
(2) Between individual game and interpersonal game
Two groups make little difference but in the activity the individual game has higher significance(p<.05) than interpersonal game.
(3) Between team game and interpersonal game
In the activity the team game show higher significance(p<.01) than interpersonal game, and in the stability interpersonal game show higher significance(p<.05) than team game.
3) Personal charactor between male and female athlete players and common student
(1) In the activity male athlete players appear higher significance(p<.01) than male common student, and in the impulsiveness male athlete players appear higher significance(p<.05) than male common student.
(2) Female athlete players have higher significance(p<.001) in the activity and stability, and in the dominance(p<.01).
(3) Although male and female common students make a little difference, they show lowest stability.
(4) The stability and reflectiveness of female athlete players appear higher significance(p<.01) than male athlete players.
There is a little difference in the activity, dominance, and sociability, but female athlete players have a slightly higher significance.
