국문 초록

  이 글의 목적은 2003년 국가수준 학업성취도 평가의 척도 개발과 관련한 각종 측정학적 이슈를 제시하고, 척도 개발 절차 및 결과를 제시하는데 있다. 국가수준 학업성취도 평가는 2003년 이전에는 원점수로 보고되었는데, 원점수에 의한 점수보고의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 새로운 척도를 개발할 필요가 있었다. 새로 개발된 척도는 수험생의 상대적 위치에 관한 규준 정보를 포함하고 있고, 점수대에 따라 측정오차가 유사하였다. 또한 검사동등화가 이루어지더라도 점수의 증분이 일정하도록 개발하였다. 학교급별로는 척도점수의 평균을 달리하였다. 그렇지만 학교급내 과목별 목표 평균 및 표준편차는 동일하도록 척도화하였다.

영문 초록

  The purposes of this study were (1) to describe the issues in developing score scales of National Assessment of Educational Achievement 2003 (NAEA 2003) and (2) to provide the scaling procedures and results of NAEA 2003. NAEA had administered over 10 years and Korea Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation(KICE) is currently charge of the exam. NAEA had administered about 1~3% Grade 6th, 9th, 10th students for the Korean, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, and English. Before Year 2003, the primary reported score of NAEA was a raw score scale. However, a new score scale for NAEA 2003 was developed to overcome the shortcomings of the raw score scale and to conduct test equating. The new score scale of NAEA 2003 incorporated normative information and had constant standard error of measurement to which an arcsine transformation method was applied. The mean and standard deviation were the same across subjects, but they were different across grades.
