영문 초록

  We have studied the status and the task on the classification of the parts of speech, declension of auxiliary words and cases, and the iconography of sentence structure which have ever been identified through researches on the theory of Korean Grammar so far. We made a remarkable growth of researches on the Korean Grammar in their quality and quantity for more than 100 years of Korean Grammar and 60 years of independence. Accepting the foreign theories provided decisive opportunities for growth as well as paved the way for its success on the early researches on Korean Grammar. At the same time, however, it constituted the ecological limitation of the researches on Korean Grammar, since there were many cases not to appropriately understand the properties of the Korean language by irrationally applying the theories of general linguistics to the state of Korean Grammar.   Classifying the parts of speech in Korean has many sides. Now is the time to reinterpret the nine parts of speech that was suggested by the school grammar. This is connected directly with the globalization of the Koran language. Therefore, it is necessary to classify the auxiliary words that are peculiar ability of the Korean language, to express declension, and to reinterpret the matter on the establishment of parts of speech. For the iconography of sentence structure, it needs to find a new model to suit our purpose for analyzing the sentence structure of the Korean language. The school grammar should also present a discussion about the matter. Furthermore, it is the very time to develop our own theory so as to explain various properties of the Korean language. This allows us to take a shortcut to globalize the researches on the theory of Korean Grammar by accepting the foreign theories and by harmonizing our own theories, as well as by mixing the general grammar and individual grammar.
