영문 초록

This purpose of this study is to investigates the determinants of nonstandard work arrangements in Korea, using micro data from labor force survey. This study attempts to identify the determinants of nonstandard work arrangements focusing on the effects of individual characteristics, job characteristic, union. The conclusions drawn from the empirical results are as follows; First, nonstandard work arrangements are involuntarily chosen by the weaker labor market position of workers rather than voluntarily by flexible laborforce. Second, nonstandard work arrangements are product of labor market flexibility. Third, contrary to inside-outside theory, nonstandard work arrangements are negatively correlated with union.
