국문 초록

본 연구는 특수학교 체육교과의 교육실습생이 교육실습과정에서 경험한 실습의 의미를 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 교육실습의 의미를 심층적으로 도출하기 위하여 질적 연구방법을 사용하였으며, 개인이 순간적으로 경험하게 되는 지각의 장 내에서 현상을 대상으로 지각하고 의미를 규정하는 현상학적 인식론으로 자료에 접근하였다. 4주의 교육실습을 마친 특수체육을 전공하는 12명을 대상으로, ‘교육실습동안 경험한 여러 가지 활동, 사건, 인간관계, 의미에 관하여 말씀하여 주시겠습니까?’의 개방형 질문에 대하여 연구참여자와 연구자는 1:1 인터뷰 형식으로 진행하였다. 자료는 Moustakas(1994)의 방법으로 분석하였으며 자료의 진실성을 확보하기 위한 구성원 점검법을 사용하고, 심층분석을 위하여 이들이 작성한 교생일지와 교육실습 후 반성토의 자료를 검토ㆍ분석하는 삼각검증법을 거쳤다. 교육실습생이 갖는 교육실습의 의미, 즉 본질은 시간적 순서에 따라 기존 문화에 대한 좌절, 학생에 대한 사랑과 좌절상황을 도약의 발판으로 전환, 그리고 교직에 대한 신념과 희망으로 요약된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to describe how 12 student teachers with special physical education major perceive and experience their teaching practicum in special schools. The phenomenological theoretical perspective specifically using Moustakas' analysis procedure framed this study. The essences of student teaching experience included disappointment and frustration, love, and finally belief in being a teacher. Students teachers were disappointed and frustrated in power dynamics, school environment including neglecting students with disability, and passive attitude towards their students with disability. Love and passion toward the students with disability and mental support from teachers who act like mentor help student teachers to overcome disappointment and frustration. And faith in being a teacher was deepen and strengthen by passion and love toward students with disability. In conclusion, students teachers experienced disappointment, love and deepened faith in being a teacher.
