영문 초록

Recently the role of Korea has become of great importance owing to its geographical location in the center of economic and international logistics activities of Northeast Asia. Under the circumstance, Korea Government put in operation Free Trade (or Customs) Zone (hereafter, FTZ) to realize hub port of logistics in Northeast Asia. In this context, the research of FTZ is steadily increasing, according to several preceedent studies over the past few years. To date, however, no study has appeared comparing success factors of FTZ in Korea so far. Thus the objective of this research is to investigate as follows. First. it derives 6 benefit factors through comprehensive review of various factors which may affect the perceptions two groups. Second. the degree of perceptions for critical success factors on FTZ between the domestic companies and foreign companies, is tested. Finally the significant correlations between many success factors and the benefits of FTZ are tested. According to the statistical analysis, we find that agree to our hypothesis. the success factors mentioned in this literature positively affect the corporate performance. The data for empirical analysis of the research model is collected from 128 companies and the respondents for questionnaire consist of domestic companies and foreign companies. The theoretical contribution of this study is to derive a comprehensive model of critical success factors for FTZ as the logistical hub ports and empirically test it through field survey with a wide range of data collection. And the practical implication of this study is to present the desirable guidelines for FTZ implementation.
