국문 초록

본 연구는 공업계 고교 디자인 교육과정에 따른 교과서 활용의 구조적인 측면과 내용 구성 체계 분석을 통해 실제 교육 현장에서 제기되는 문제를 검토하고 이를 교육적으로 해결하며 그 개선 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이에 공업계 6종 디자인 교과서를 분석하여 공업계 교육과정의 운영에 있어 교과서의 활용도, 각 디자인 분야별 교과서들의 내용상의 중복, 현장과 유리된 내용체계, 교과서 별 목차의 흐름과 내용의 난이도 등을 알아보았다. 그 결과 교과서들의 내용상의 중복이 있는 부분이 많으며 재검토 해야 할 필요가 있다. 또한 현장과 밀착된 내용 체계 구성이 요구된다. 목차의 흐름과 난이도도 부분적으로 재검토할 필요가 있다. 특히 교육과정 운영에서 교과서의 활용도 문제는 시급히 해결해야할 문제이다. 그리고 이러한 교육과정 운영 및 교과서 문제는 교육현장과의 유기적 연계를 통하여 해결해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the problems of six different kinds of design textbooks by analyzing the structure and contents in the design books and to search for better improvements and to present effective and systematic reform measures. This study examined the utility, the repetition of the contents, the content systems, the flow of the table of contents and the relative difficulty of the contents by comparing the six different kinds of design textbooks. As the result of the comparison among the six different kinds of design textbooks, it is found that the structure and contents of the design books are mostly the same. In the case of the repetition of the contents, it needs to be re-examined the contents for students to arose more diversified sense of arts. As to the contents of the textbooks, they are separated from our real educational situation. They should be fixed to cope with the changing age in line with the characteristics of various regions and schools. In case of the flow of the table of contents and the relative difficulty of the contents, they also should be required to be amended partially. In particular, the utility of textbooks in running curriculum is the most urgent problem to be reorganized. Most of all, social change should be reflected in line with the professional trends in educating technical high school students in the area of design.
