영문 초록

This thesis is focus on the system transformation methods from planned economy into the market economy in China and eastern Europe. During last 10 years, system transformation methods of the socialist states into the market economy have been discussed in two ways: radical transformation or gradual transformation. However, the strategies for the system transformation have been chosen according to the initial conditions of the each state such as politics, economic situations, social problems and domestic informal institutions. An economic system has been evolved and is the product of formal institutions such as law, economy, social system and informal institutions such as culture and custom, witch have been interacted So, to carry out a system transformation, a state should consider both formal and informal institutions and future economic policies for the system transformation should be chosen according to these initial conditions. These initial conditions restrict the extent of system transformation. So, the radical transformation, which changes the domestic orders such as customs and norms nationwide, is not desirable. The introduction of market economy in a transformation country cannot be accomplished in a moment because of the rational limits of economy subjects and historical subordination.
