국문 초록
Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify the meaning and essential themes of nursing students' experiences afterimplementing nursing skills self-directed practice training using augmented reality simulation.
Design: Qualitative research with phenomenological methodsMethods: The participants of the study were 17 nursing students enrolled in a university, and in-depth interviews were conductedfrom December 1 to December 28, 2020. The collected data were analyzed by applying Giorgi’s phenomenological researchmethod.
Results: The analysis revealed four components of the simulation training experience: ‘discomfort of unfamiliarity’, ‘motivatingpractice’, ‘dynamic screen’, and ‘learning effectiveness’, and the analysis yielded up to 15 sub-components and 82 means ofcentrality.
Conclusions: This study provided an in-depth understanding of nursing students' self-directed practice education experience,which can be used as a basis for improving various self-directed practice methods in the future.
