국문 초록

This study’s purpose was to determine the correlation among perception of professionalism, ego-resilience, and child interaction in childcare teachers and to examine how the former two affect the latter. A total of 303 childcare teachers from nurseries in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province participated in this study. We used descriptive statistics to determine the general trend of the variables, correlation analysis to determine correlation among the variables, and multiple regression analysis to examine the impact of perception of professionalism and ego-resilience on teacher-child interaction. Results showed that both expertise awareness and ego-resilience were positively correlated with teacher–child interaction. Furthermore, perception of professionalism and ego-resilience positively affected teacher–child interaction in childcare teachers.
