교과교육학지식에 기초한 유아수학교육 교사연수 프로그램 개발에 대한 유치원 교사의 인식 및 요구

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아수학교육 교사연수에 대한 유치원 교사들의 인식 및 요구를 알아봄으로써 교과교육학지식에 기초한 유아수학교육 교사연수 프로그램의 기초정보를 제공하고 유아수학교육 교사연수의 질적 개선을 도모하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 B시에 있는 유치원 교사 242명을 대상으로 조사연구를 하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교과교육학지식에 대한 유치원 교사의 관심과 이해는 보통이상으로 나타났으며, 교과교육학지식에 기초한 유아수학교육 교사연수가 필요하다고 대부분 인식하고 있었다. 둘째 교과교육학지식에 기초한 유아수학교육 교사연수 운영방법에 대한 요구로 연수 시기는 학기 중 평일, 연수 1회 교육시간은 3시간, 연수방법은 실제 모의수업이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 연령과 경력에 따른 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 교과교육학지식에 기초한 유아수학교육 교사연수 내용에 대한 요구로는 유아수학교육을 위한 활동의 실제와 유아수학교육을 위한 다양한 교수학습방법이 가장 높게 나타났다. 유아수학교육 교사 연수에 대한 인식 및 요구를 살펴보는 것은 추후 프로그램을 개발할 때 보다 유치원 교사의 요구와 관심에 적합한 프로그램 개발에 있어 논의 시발점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness and needs of kindergarten teachers about teacher training program on Pedagogical Content Knowledge-based early childhood mathematics education. And it's also meant to facilitate the qualitative improvement of teacher training for early childhood math education. This study investigated, through a questionnaire of 242 respondents, kindergarten teachers in B city. The findings of the study were as follows: First, as a result of analyzing the awareness of the kindergarten teachers on early childhood math education, the level of their interest in early childhood math education and that of their understanding of it were both above average, and the majority considered it necessary to take training courses in early childhood math education. Second, whether there would be any differences in their needs for teacher training for early childhood math education was analyzed, and there were significant differences according to age and career. Regarding needs for the content of this training, practical activities for early childhood math education and a wide variety of related teaching-learning methods were most preferred. This study is of significance in that awareness and needs of kindergarten teachers for PCK-based teacher training program for early childhood math education to rovide a starting point for discussion in the development program for kindergaten teacher training
