영문 초록

We, authors, report 2 cases of cerebrai malaria which were associated with malignant tropica malaria They were serving at Vietnamese war. Case I showed organic defect syndromes； acute delirium progressed to full coma and focal signs and meningial signs developed. Prompt and adequate anti-malarial therapy was effective but severe personality changes and impairment of intellectual functions remained. Case J developed paranoid syndromes. It is difficult to determine whether the paranoid syndromes were due to the cerebral changes or were merely uncovered during the course malaria. But the Latter, we think, was more likely possible, we should consider the possibility of the malarial origin among-the veterans from Vietnam who shows psychotic, psychoneurotic or psychopathic manifestations.
