청소년용 여성 진로장벽 척도의 개발 및 구인타당도 검증

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 초ㆍ중ㆍ고 여학생에게 사용될 수 있는 진로장벽 척도를 개발하고 타당화하였다. 먼저, 문헌연구를 통해 Swanson의 CBI-R(Career Barriers Inventory-Revised)등의 외국 척도와 국내의 진로장벽 척도를 참고하여 자기이해의 부족, 자신감 부족, 성역할 갈등 및 성차별, 중요한 타인과의 갈등, 미래에 대한 불확실성, 진로 및 직업 정보의 부족, 경제적 어려움의 7가지 하위 요인에 해당하는 문항을 제작했다. 서울과 경기도 소재의 초ㆍ중ㆍ고 여학생 729명을 대상으로 한 예비연구를 통해 42 문항의 진로장벽척도를 구성했고, 650명의 초ㆍ중ㆍ고 여학생에게 본 검사를 실시했다. 본 연구 자료를 토대로 진로장벽 척도에 대한 양호도 분석을 실시하고, 구인타당도 검증을 위해 확인적 요인분석을 실시했다. 그 결과 우리나라 청소년용 여성 진로장벽 척도의 요인수는 7개가 적합한 것으로 확인되었다. 각 요인에 해당되는 문항의 요인계수도 적절한 수준을 보였으며, 하위요인별 내적 합치도도 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과에 대해 요약하고, 여자 청소년들이 지각하는 진로장벽의 7개 요인이 갖는 의미에 대해 논의하고, 연구의 의의와 한계 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시했다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the present study is to develope an Career Barriers Scale for Korean female elementary school, middle school, and high school students. Based on framework of CBI-R(Career barriers Inventory-Revised) developed by Swanson and Daniels(1995) and the previously developed empirical evidence, 47 preliminary items of seven-factor structure were constructed, Preliminary item and scale analyses were based on the data collected from 729 elementary, middle, and high school female students. Examination of the item descriptive statistics and confirmatory factor analysis resulted in the 42-item final scale consists of seven-factor of career barriers subscales(4 items of lack of self-apprehension, 11 items of lack of self-confidence, 8 items of sex-role conflict and sex discrimination, 6 items of disapproval by significant others, 4 items of uncertainty about future, 4 items of lack of career-related information, 5 items of lack of financial support). Data from 620 elementary, middle, and high school female students for the final scale were analysed to confirm the factorial validity of the seven-factor model. A confirmatory factor analysis result revealed that the seven-factor structure of career barriers scale was appropriate to represent the career barriers structure of Korean female adolescent students. The result also showed that seven-factor model fits the data better than the other six-factor or eight-factor model. The internal consistency of each factor was reasonably high ranging from .67 to .86. Implications for counseling practice and future research were suggested
