국문 초록

사회적으로, 조직의 정보보안에 대한 체계적 관리의 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 코로나 19 이후, 조직원의 재택근무 등이 증가하고, 정보시스템 접근 방식이 다양해지면서, 내부자의 정보보안 준수에 대한 우려가 있다. 반면, 엄격한 보안정책의 운용은 조직원의 스트레스를 일으켜 보안 목표 달성에 역효과를 일으킬 수 있다. 본 연구는 조직의 협력적 커뮤니케이션을 통해 조직원의 정보보안의 방해적 스트레스가 그들의 보안 행위에 미치는 부정적 영향을 개선하는 방안을 제시한다. 연구는 정보보안정책을 운용하는 조직에 근무하는 조직원을 통해 확보한 328개의 데이터를 활용하여 가설검증을 하였다. 검증 결과, 보안 관련 방해적 스트레스가 개인의 걱정을 통해 준수 의도를 낮추는 조건임을 확인하였으며, 협력적 커뮤니케이션이 방해적 스트레스의 부정적 영향에 완화 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 연구 결과는 조직원의 능동적인 보안 활동을 위해 조직이 추진해야 할 보안 활동 체계를 제시함으로써, 장기적인 내부 보안 수준 달성에 필요한 전략을 제언한다.

영문 초록

The importance of systematically managing organizational information security (IS) is increasingly recognized socially, particularly after COVID-19, as remote work among organizational members has risen and information system access methods have diversified, leading to growing concerns about insiders' compliance with IS. Conversely, the implementation of strict IS policies may induce stress among organization members, potentially hindering the achievement of IS objectives. This study proposes measures to mitigate the negative impact of organizational members' obstructive IS-related stress on their IS behavior by enhancing collaborative communication within the organization. This study tested the hypothesis using 328 data points obtained from members working in organizations that operate IS policies. The verification results indicated that IS hindrance stress negatively impacted IS compliance intentions through anxiety, while collaborative communication mitigated the adverse effects of hindrance stress. These findings propose a security activity framework that organizations should implement for proactive IS activities by members, thereby suggesting strategies necessary for achieving a long-term internal IS level.
