국문 초록

본 연구는 핵가족화 및 사회구조 변화에 따른 세대 간의 단절과 고립에 대한 문제에 대응하기 위해, 주요 세대층인 노인과 영유아 간의 세대교류에 대한 필요성을 다루었다. 노인과 영유아의 관계 심리 요소 분석을 통해 세대교류와 관련된 공간 분석에 관한 연구로서 현재 우리나라가 직면한 심각한 수준의 저출산과 빠르게 진행되는 고령사회에 대한 지속적이고 중장기적인 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 국외에서는 노인과 영유아의 관계 심리에 대한 연구를 바탕으로, 세대 간 상호교류를 촉진하는 다양한 프로그램 활동과 세대 교류센터, 노유복합시설 등이 신체적, 사회적 발달과 더불어 심리적 안위 증진에 긍정적 영향이 입증되었고, 세대 간 단절을 예방하고, 선입견을 해소하는 등 사회계층 간의 이질적 문제를 해결하는 시도가 꾸준히 있어왔다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 국내외 건축학, 심리학, 간호학적 측면의 다양한 연계 논문을 바탕으로, 노인과 영유아의 심리적 특성과 함축된 속성을 분석하여 인간 상호적인 세대 간 관계 심리 측면의 일치되는 함의를 도출하고자 하였다. 또한 설문조사를 통하여 프로그램 및 공간의 관계성 등을 분석하고 이를 통해 우리나라에서 세대교류에 대한 사회적 인식, 가족의 인식, 세대교류 공간을 활용 시 선호 프로그램 및 요구되는 공간 유형 등을 파악하였다. 더불어 국외 사례를 비교, 분석을 통해 향후 노인과 영유아의 세대 간 심리적 안위를 증진할 핵심요소를 추출하여 실행할 수 있을 방안을 제시하며, 이를 실현하기 위해 효과적인 세대교류 공간의 상호 연계성에 대한 기초자료를 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study addresses the necessity of intergenerational exchange between the elderly and infants as a response to the increasing isolation and disconnection among generations due to the rise of nuclear families and changes in social structures. By analyzing the psychological factors influencing the relationship between the elderly and infants, this research explores the spatial aspects of intergenerational exchange. Given South Korea's serious low birth rate and rapidly aging society, this study aims to propose sustainable and long-term solutions. International studies have demonstrated that various programs, intergenerational exchange centers, and elderly-infant integrated facilities contribute positively to physical, social, and psychological well-being. These efforts have also helped prevent generational disconnection, break stereotypes, and address social disparities. Based on interdisciplinary research from architecture, psychology, and nursing, this study analyzes the psychological characteristics and underlying attributes of both elderly and infants to derive shared implications for intergenerational relationships. Furthermore, a survey was conducted to examine the correlation between intergenerational programs and spaces, assessing social and familial perceptions of intergenerational exchange, preferred programs, and required spatial types. By comparing and analyzing international cases, this study extracts key elements essential for enhancing the psychological well-being of both generations and presents feasible strategies. Ultimately, it aims to provide foundational data for establishing effective intergenerational spaces with strong interconnectivity.
