국문 초록

본 연구는 전통 스포츠인 궁술에 현대의 조명·음향 제어기술 및 센서기술을 융합함으로써, 영화나 게임에서 볼 수 있는 판타지 특수효과를 현실에서 구현하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 활의 상태를 감지할 수 있는 센서 방식을 채택하고, LED 조명과 음향 모듈을궁술의 주요 동작 단계(준비, 드로잉, 조준, 격발)에 맞춰 시·청각적으로 연동하였다. 그 결과, 야간 필드 시험에서 사수가 활을 당기고쏘는 각 순간에 LED의 시각적 효과가 실시간으로 반응하여 관람자와 사용자가 모두 활의 동작 메커니즘과 특수효과를 직관적으로 체험할 수 있다. 이러한 특수효과 구현은 기존 궁술의 운동성과 기록성에 더해 오락적 즐거움을 부여하며, 야간 훈련 시에도 활의 작동상태가 분명히 드러나므로 안전 확보에도 기여한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 특수효과 시스템은 스포츠와 미디어 기술의 융합적 가능성을제시하는 사례로서, LED 조명의 다양한 효과를 이용한 궁사 관계자들의 흥미유발과 접근성을 정진시킨다. 결과적으로 본 연구는 새로운 스포츠·문화 콘텐츠로 발전할 수 있는 잠재력을 지닐 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study aims to implement fantasy style special effects commonly depicted in films and video games within the traditional sport of archery by integrating modern lighting, sound control, and sensor technologies. For this purpose, we employed a sensor system capable of detecting the bow’s operational state, and synchronized LED lighting and audio modules with the main phases of archery (preparation, drawing, aiming, and release) to provide both visual and auditory feedback. As a result, nighttime field tests demonstrated that the LED visual effects responded in real time to each instance of drawing and shooting, allowing both observers and participants to intuitively experience the bow’s mechanism and the associated special effects. This integration not only accentuates the entertainment value alongside the conventional athletic and record-based aspects of archery but also contributes to safety by clearly indicating the bow’s operational status during nighttime training.
