Examining the history of foreign educational punishment ideas from a humanistic perspective, we find that they have undergone a transformation from theocracy and hierarchical principles to people-oriented and fairness principles. This shift not only reflects a deepened social understanding of individual value but also signifies a transition in educational philosophy from punishment-focused to a combination of education and guidance. This paper aims to explore the evolution of foreign educational punishment ideas under the influence of humanism and to reflect on contemporary educational concepts from an international perspective.
