국문 초록

기업가정신은 기업경영의 핵심 역량이다. 기업가는 투철한 기업가정신을 바탕으로 불확실성과 치열한 경쟁을 극복하고 혁신을 통해 높은 성과를 내야 한다. 그러나 성과(performance first)만 강조되다 보면 기업가는 근본적인 경영원칙을 망각할 수 있다. 성과 극대화 경영은 도덕적 해이의 함정(chasm of moral hazard)에 빠질 위험이 크다. 여러 선행연구에서 기업가의 도덕성과 기업가정신과의 관계나 기업인의 도덕성과 사회적 책임을 고찰하는 사례가 많았다. 본 연구에서는 기업가정신의 구성요소별 도덕성 수준을 새롭게 탐구했다. 여기에 심리학에서 사람의 성격을 규명한 대표적 이론인 Big Five의 조절효과를 확인하였다. 분석결과 기업가정신 중 혁신성은 도덕성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치지만 위험감수성은 도덕성에 부(-)의 영향을 미쳤고, 조직구성원의 기업가정신과 도덕성의 관계에서 사람 성격 Big Five 중 외향성, 개방성, 신경증에서 조절효과가 나타났다. 본 연구는 경영학의 영역에서 심리학과의 융합 연구로서 의의를 찾을 수 있고, 기업가정신 교육과 벤처투자에서의 투자심의 등 실무적으로도 유용하게 접목할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Entrepreneurship is a core competency in corporate management. Entrepreneurs must overcome uncertainty and fierce competition based on a strong entrepreneurial spirit and achieve high performance through innovation. However, if performance first is emphasized, entrepreneurs may forget the fundamental management principles. Performance maximization management has a high risk of falling into the chasm of moral hazard. In several previous studies, there were many cases of examining the relationship between entrepreneurship and the morality or social responsibility of entrepreneurs. This study newly attempted the level of morality for each component of entrepreneurship. Here, the moderating effect of Big Five, a representative theory that identified a person's character in psychology, was explored. As a result of the analysis, innovation among entrepreneurship had a positive(+) effect on morality, but risk-taking had a negative(-) effect on morality, and in the relationship between entrepreneurship and morality of workers extroversion, openness, and neurosis among human personality Big Five were moderated. This study can find significance as a convergence study with psychology in the field of business administration, and can be practically applied, such as entrepreneurship education and investment deliberation in venture investment.
