경주 금척리 고분군의 조영 시기와 매장 시설의 특징

국문 초록

금척리 고분군의 주 매장시설은 적석목곽묘로 판단된다. 1981년 발굴 분묘들은 대부분 상부적석식 적석목곽묘이며, 지상적석식 적석목곽묘는 확인되지 않았다. 봉분이 남아있는 대형 분묘는 지상적석식일 가능성도 있다. 1981년 발굴 자료만으로 볼 때 금척리 고분군은 3세기 후반부터 6세기 1/4분기까지 조영되었다. 분묘 조영 시기가 이보다 이른 시기로 더 소급될지는 이 자료만으로는 알 수 없다. 고식이나 신식 와질토기가 아직 확인되지 않았으므로 분묘의 조영 시기가 원삼국시대까지 거슬러 올라갈지 불분명하다. 하한은 1981년 자료만으로는 6세기 1/4분기까지이다. 금척리 고분군의 조영 기간은 주변의 사라리 고분군을 비롯해 방내리 고분군과 어떤 관계였는지를 이해하는 데 중요하지만, 이는 미보고 자료까지 포함해 앞으로 좀 더 자료를 축척한 후 논의해야 할 과제이다.

영문 초록

The main burial facility of the Geumjak-ri Ancient Tombs is believed to be a stone mound tomb. The stone mound tombs are largely divided into four-sided stone mound tombs, upper stone mound tombs, and ground stone mound tombs. Most of the tombs reported this time are four-sided stone wooden chamber tombs and upper stone wooden chamber tombs, and no ground stone wooden chamber tomb has been identified. The large tomb where the mound remains is presumed to be a wooden chamber tomb built on the ground. Next, it seems that the Geumjak-ri Ancient Tombs were built from the 4th century to the early 6th century. However, it is not known from this report alone whether the construction period of the tomb dates back earlier than this time. The existence of old and new tile-type earthenware is not clear, and it is unclear whether it dates back to the Three Kingdoms Period. This is important for understanding the rise of the Geumjak-ri Ancient Tombs Construction Group compared to the surrounding Sarari Ancient Tombs, but data are still lacking. Based on the data reported this time, it is estimated that the tomb was built until the first half of the 6th century. The lower limit is important for comparing the relationship with the surrounding Bangnae-ri tombs, which should be discussed after further scaling the data including unreported data.
